Day-by-Day Itinerary
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you are welcomed by your professional safari driver-guide.
After a short briefing, begin a scenic drive toward southwestern Uganda, passing through rolling hills, banana plantations, tea estates, rural villages, and highland escarpments.
The journey is long but scenic, offering gradual immersion into Uganda’s countryside landscapes.
Arrive in the Bwindi region in the evening and check in at your lodge located near the forest edge.
Dinner and overnight stay in Bwindi area.
After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a mandatory briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers.
You are assigned a gorilla family group based on trekking conditions and physical readiness.
The trek begins into the dense rainforest of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO-listed ecosystem known for its thick vegetation, steep terrain, and high biodiversity.
Guided by experienced rangers and trackers, you navigate forest trails until the gorilla family is located.
Once found, you spend a strictly regulated time observing them in their natural environment — a rare and deeply moving wildlife experience that takes place in complete silence and respect.
Return to the lodge for rest and relaxation.
Dinner and overnight stay in Bwindi.
After breakfast, depart Bwindi and drive toward Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through scenic highland regions and crater lake landscapes.
Arrive in the park area in the afternoon and enjoy an introductory game drive en-route to your lodge.
Queen Elizabeth National Park offers a diverse ecosystem including savannah plains, wetlands, forested areas, and volcanic crater lakes.
Dinner and overnight stay in the park region.
After breakfast, proceed for a morning game drive across Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The park offers wide open plains and varied terrain, allowing consistent wildlife viewing across different habitats.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George.
This cruise offers one of the highest wildlife concentrations in Africa along a water ecosystem, with exceptional birdlife and aquatic wildlife viewing from close range.
Return to lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, travel to the southern Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
This remote region is known for its unique wildlife behavior, particularly lions that are often seen resting in large fig trees.
Enjoy a guided game drive through open savannah plains and remote wilderness tracks, offering a quieter and more exclusive safari atmosphere.
Later return to your lodge area for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Entebbe or Kampala.
The drive passes through Uganda’s countryside, offering scenic views of hills, rural settlements, and agricultural landscapes.
Arrive in the evening and transfer to the airport for departure or onward travel.
